連合艦隊的黃昏　出乎意料的帝國海軍在臺灣

基隆港外に沈んだ「金剛」の他、「比叡」「榛名」「霧島」「扶桑」「山城」「伊勢」「日向」「長門」「陸奧」から航空母艦、巡洋艦、駆逐艦、潜水艦、様々な艦艇が基隆、馬公、高雄の港に停泊し、或いは防衛の為駐留していました。港に係留されている空母「蒼龍」「瑞鳳」「隼鷹」「雲鷹」「大鷹」「冲鷹」「神鷹」「龍鳳」「大鳳」に、人々はどれほど興奮した事でしょう！「目斗」「測天」「澎湖」「虎井」は台湾の地名から名付けられたんですよ。本書は連合艦隊の約500隻の艦船と台湾を結びつけた初の写真集であり、また「”私たち” の連合艦隊」の事実を描きだしています。
